Problem Note 49839: You receive an error message indicating the %INCLUDE has encountered an I/O error
When using the %INCLUDE statement you may receive the following two error messages that are valid when you have insufficient permissions to a file:
ERROR: Insufficient authorization to access /xxxxx/xxxxx.txt.
ERROR: Cannot open %INCLUDE file /xxxxx/xxxxx.txt.
Starting in SAS® 9.3 TS1M2 you may receive the two errors noted above along with the following error. This additional error causes SAS to stop processing remaining submitted statements.
ERROR: %INCLUDE has encountered an I/O/ error. Canceling submitted statements.
This problem will be fixed in a future release of SAS.
